Thought we might use a thread to discuss period dramas that are currently in production or awaiting release.
This one caught my eye: http://screenterrier.blogspot.ca/2011/12/meet-young-cast-of-labyrinth.html What made me notice this one is that Jessica Brown Findlay of "Downton Abbey" fame and Tom Felton of "Harry Potter" fame are both in it. If any of you have heard anything about it (especially air date) could you let us know. The article says it should air in the spring of 2012, but we already seem to be there and I have heard nothing. Also, the list of work for both of the above actors on IMDb does not include this production. Any help would be very appreciated !! Thanks. :) |

I just wanted to let you all know that we will be recognising a member of our wiki each week for their contributions to our site. I am very happy to say that Juliana-Angela is our very first and most deserving recipient. Thanks to her for all of her contributions to this site .. .we would be lost without her.
I know that we do not have many members yet, but it does not mean that we don't appreciate the members that we have. I hope to see each and every one of your get this recognition many times ... you are all very valued to us! |

Welcome to our Period Dramas Wiki ! Perhaps you could let us know your reasons for joining.
Personally, I love period dramas especially those of an historical nature. Basically anything that is on film that takes place more than a 100 years ago, I am a fan of. |

Congrats goes to Sue for the splended home page. This believe me is no mean feat. The adding of a wallpaper involves lots and lots of tricky moves, iframes etc which are way over my head. The addition of the music from Emma is a beautiful addition. As always Sue endeavours to make the site original, fresh and inviting. Well done Sue you are a genius.

Hi guys ... the Golden Paint Can Awards are again looking for nominations. I have put forth our site to be nominated for the "Emerging Wiki Award". This is for sites created between April 30th and July 15th of this year. A little publicity would never hurt. ;)
